Fis & oxoo: Henge AV

A ritual with attemp to make the boudaries of a space dissappear in intensively smoke filled venue. We took inspiration in pagan rituals and celebrations of natural phenomena and created an immersive live-performed experience via 360° lighting system which surrounded the audience

The lighting system was controlled by custom software, fully driven by multiple audio signals from stage. I had “hands-on” the signals during the show. It was important for us with sound performer Fis to have a room to improvise, react and communicate

The project was created during residency initiated by Lunchmeat Festival 2018 and performed there as an audio-visual lighting statement:

Factmag, 2018 - on Fis’ and Lunchmeat’s Henge Premiere:
“Lunchmeat was able to strike an engaging balance between sound and spectacle. This was most apparent during Fis’s performance, which explored noise and silence as well as light and shade. As skeletal beams of light swept through the darkness and intermittent strobes punctuated the artist’s monolithic soundscapes, it felt like the most complete statement that while visuals needn’t matter, they absolutely can.”
